About the Position
We are looking for a talented, hands-on Software Development Team Leader to lead a small, focused team of software developers in a web development environment and take a key role in the development of an advanced, real-time operational platform.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and technology-driven Team Leader who loves building great software, brings new ideas to the table, stays constantly up to date with emerging technologies, and knows how to turn them into real engineering value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team’s day-to-day technical activities while remaining actively hands-on in development.
- Develop scalable backend services in a microservices architecture.
- Integrate AI into the day-to-day development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, code review, and productivity improvement.
- Work closely with Product, System Engineering, Project Managers, QA, and other R&D stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of proven experience as a Software Development Team Leader – mandatory.
- Strong hands-on software development background.
- Proven experience working in a web development environment – mandatory.
- Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET – highly preferred; strong Java experience will also be considered.
- Experience with modern web applications and frontend development; React experience – advantage.
- Proven experience developing systems based on microservices architecture – mandatory.
- Demonstrated hands-on, day-to-day experience working with AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code – mandatory.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and modern development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic technological environment.
- Provide hands-on support for operational systems in Israel and abroad, ensuring rapid incident response and strict SLA compliance.
