About The Position
- We are seeking a talented Avionics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for aerospace applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and functionality of avionics components within our aircraft.

- Deriving system requirements for flight algorithms (control, guidance, navigation, estimation) and the required performance for flight function, sub-functions/components/models, and writing them into specifications.
- Managing the development team, with professional responsibility and accountability for all tasks and work products, leading the development processes of flight algorithms according to work plans, and delivering software versions.
- Determining the requirements for the rate and sequence of operation of various flight algorithms, participating in design reviews, defining model requirements, writing plans, setting functional interfaces, defining telemetry, and preparing cost estimates.
- Responsibility for the design, implementation, documentation, and testing of flight algorithms developed within the group, partnering with subsystem/function leaders, participating in the planning of system experiments and test arrays.
- Coordinating and prioritizing development areas of the subsystems composing the flight system.
- Performing analyses and tests to mitigate risks in meeting the flight function requirements.
- Participating in experimental processes and leading the process of decoding flight system performance in tests.
- Responsibility for system tests, integration, and preparations for tests and system delivery, proving system performance against requirements, leading performance testing, responsibility for performance analysis, and planning flight test accompaniment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautics/Electrical Engineering/Mathematics/Physics. Preference for a Master's degree (at least one year completed).
- At least 5 years of experience in control systems development or 3 years of experience as a system engineer.
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++.
- Ability to work independently, previous managerial experience will be an advantage.
