About The Position

mPrest is looking for an experienced and highly proactive Security & Network Engineer to join our Global Core Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our network and security infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation, performance monitoring, and modern security principles.

Responsibilities

Full Network Lifecycle Management: Design, implement, and operate high-availability network and security infrastructure.

Proactive Monitoring & Performance: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (Prometheus/Grafana) to identify bottlenecks and resolve issues before they impact business operations.

Security & Audits: Maintain security inventories, perform regular infrastructure audits, and ensure compliance with corporate security requirements.

Perimeter & Access Security: Define and maintain robust perimeter defense and secure access controls (Client-to-Site VPN) within a FortiGate environment.

Automation: Drive the modernization of network operations by automating routine tasks and configurations.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Requirements:

Network Engineering: Proven experience with Cisco environments (LAN/WAN/WLAN), including deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (VLANs, PIM, IGMP, Multicast, etc.).

Fortinet Expertise: Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, including centralized log management and security policy auditing (FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator).


Monitoring & Automation:

Strong proficiency in Prometheus/Grafana for network monitoring.

Experience in automating routine network tasks using Python, Bash, or Ansible.


Infrastructure Integration:

Hands-on experience with Cisco and Dell switches.

Experience in storage infrastructure integration (iSCSI/FC connectivity, HBA configuration, and Multipathing/MPIO).


Security Architecture: Familiarity with modern network security principles, including Micro-segmentation and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).


Documentation: Ability to create high-quality technical documentation, including detailed network diagrams using MS Visio.


Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in network and systems administration in an enterprise environment.

Professional Certification: CCNA required; CCNP or equivalent proven hands-on experience is a significant advantage.

Independent, proactive, and responsible team player with strong planning and execution capabilities.

Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) – an advantage.

Experience with Microsoft 365 security solutions – an advantage.
