About The Position

mPrest is seeking a suitable candidate with great communication skills and an understanding of the global energy industry, to join our team as a Technical Presales professional. This role is primarily that of a presales manager, together with that of a software systems engineer. In this position, you will engage with prospects, customers, sales, marketing, product, R&D and delivery.


Your job will include:  

• Spearhead the technical pre-sales efforts and articulate mPrest’s capabilities and advantages for the Energy sector. 

• Understand the customer’s needs and pitch mPrest’s products as leading solutions.  

• Observe customer behavior and predict future needs for product development.  

• As part of the above, you will be expected to: 

Support sales, in presales efforts, such as: 

- Identifying, targeting, and reaching out to new customers 

- Master the understanding of the energy business, and our energy products, and the demonstration of mPrest’s energy products 

- Become a trusted advisor to our customers and prospects. 

- Manage all aspects of our responses to RFX (bid) processes, as well as that of unsolicited offers. 


In addition, you would be expected to support R&D and Delivery in system engineering.  

 As a Software Systems Engineer, you will be expected to:

• Understand power systems and distribution networks. Design and develop robust system architectures in the electrical distribution system and solve complex network systems. 

• Write requirement (SRS) and details design documents (DLD) meeting customer delivery requirements.

• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks and optimize system components for efficiency and reliability).

• Create product roadmaps and aligning them with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and make sales presentations.  

• Leadership on preparing sales proposals and tenders (RFI, RFP, etc.). 

• Plan sales strategies in response to market and competitors’ behavior. 

• Act as an architect on an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s business requirements. 

• Investigate and optimize a solution’s fit to the requirements of an opportunity, both current and future. 

• Build lasting relationships with customers. 

• Work in sync with the product development team and develop sustainable and commercially viable products. 

• Assume sales process responsibilities for penetrating specific accounts, in order to support the sales team and allow them to focus on accounts reaching a specific sales maturity. 

• In addition, as may be relevant, you may be granted responsibility for specific accounts, which will allow you to follow through on the entire sales process, and generate and close your own business opportunities, in parallel to supporting other sales executives in closing their business opportunities.

Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch.


Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, or other comparable degree 

• MBA is an advantage. 

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. 

• Experience working with global customers. 

• Experience in the energy market 

• Solution-oriented analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients. 

• Independent thinker, and ability to work independently 

• Self and group management skills 

• Results oriented 

• Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. 

• Ability to initiate conversations and make a lasting impact. 

• A sales “hunter” 

• Strong customer service orientation 

• Strong understanding of power systems and distribution networks.

• Experience with real-time systems and communication protocols (e.g., SCADA, IEC 61850, DNP3).

• Solid technical experience, including cloud, virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• UI/UX skills: Experience with UI mockups and wireframe solutions.

• Experience with AI and machine learning applications in energy management.

• Defining and validating product requirements with end-users.

• Strong customer service orientation 

• Fluent in English 

• Willing to travel extensively
