Kurrant Insights – NYPA Keeps Power On With Iron Dome Tech
The Israeli software developers behind the Iron Dome missile defense system have reformatted their technology to fit the challenges of utilities, as seen in the way the New York Power Authority prevents outages of transformers. The solution, co-developed by mPrest and the NYPA, leverages the same anomaly-detection algorithms made famous by mPrest in the defense sector.
