Tel Aviv, IL & Boulder, CO, July 7, 2021 – mPrest, a leading developer and provider of distributed asset orchestration and optimization software for energy, defense, and commercial markets, is excited to welcome Scott Higgins to its growing North American energy solutions business. Scott has 31 years of experience in IT/OT software systems implementations, with 24 years focused on utilities and power distribution system applications. and has directly worked with scores of utilities in North America and Europe.
His utility experience includes the implementation of GIS, OMS, SCADA, ADMS and AMI/MDM solutions, along with the extensive systems and data integration that accompanies those deployments. Scott also has experience with utility asset monitoring and data automation in utility substations, feeders and customer-owned power distribution systems (behind the meter). Most recently, Scott has focused on distributed energy resource and microgrid programs, where he has gained a deep understanding of the many use cases and market drivers for distributed energy resources associated with flexible prosumer supply and demand.
At mPrest, Scott will head up Energy Solutions Delivery in North America, focusing on ensuring on-time, on-budget successful implementations and support of the full suite of mPrest energy applications.
